Kafetos Coffee Farm was founded by our family in the highlands of Guatemala, and we now offer our premium coffee beans directly from our farm to roasters. Our growing region in Nuevo Oriente features an ideal climate and clay & metamorphic volcanic soils, producing high-quality beans with distinct acidity and good body.

As a family, we have been part of the coffee industry for generations. Unfortunately, due to current low coffee prices, our farm has struggled to provide a sustainable income for our hardworking farmers. However, what sets our products apart is that we grow, process, and export the green coffee beans entirely within our own family business.

From the careful harvesting of the red cherries to our unique washing and drying methods, and the way we store the beans, everything is done with great care and attention to quality. Our coffee truly has a story, with a sense of pride and high standards behind it.

Located in eastern Guatemala along the border with Honduras, the Nuevo Oriente coffee region enjoys a unique microclimate influenced by the surrounding mountains. This results in an altitude of 1,300 to 1,600 meters, with metamorphic soils that are quite different from volcanic regions. These ideal conditions contribute to the distinct flavor profile of the beans.
